SOAPBOX SCIENCE event
Kamloops Farmers Market, June 15.

Three of our Microbiology kinetic sculptures were invited to join the informative SOAPBOX SCIENCE event at the Kamloops Farmer’s Market.
TRU science students, Emma and Leah, spoke to visitors about the research they are conducting along with Dr. Cheeptham in cave microbiology, bacteriophage, and bacterial activity in vermicomposting.
Many displays, covering various areas of science; microbiology, chemistry, and medicine, along with hands-on experiments attracted visitors of all ages. It was a lovely morning of science fun!
